I am glad I went to the Mike Brown protest. It started out as just a rally in Dudley Square, but then the entire group marched through the city. There were people of many different races there. As media critics we are bored and fed up with many of the racist, misogynist, and queerphobic storytelling tropes we see taken for granted in mass media. Men motivated by dead women and daddy issues.
